Module Description
This module begins with the foundation lesson, where students explore the basic needs of animals. They bring their learning to life by building a model of the Goliath bird-eating tarantula, the world’s largest spider. Through the activity, they learn about the spider’s anatomy, including its cephalothorax, abdomen, legs, and pedipalps, and learn how it hunts its prey. The lesson wraps up with a matching game, where students pair predators with their prey, using a reference table to deepen their understanding of food chains and animal behaviors. This engaging activity combines science, critical thinking, and teamwork, sparking curiosity about the natural world.
